WARNING: Only use the battery cartridges and chargers listed above. Use of any other battery cartridges and chargers may cause injury and/or fire.

Battery box operating instruction

1. Press and hold the “power button” to turn      on the power supply of the battery box, and use the last used battery first. The LED light corresponding to the battery will flash, indicating that it is powering

2. During using if the current battery voltage is too low, it will automatically switch to the next set of batteries. The switching sequence is 1-2-3-4-1. If there is no available battery for more than one cycle (3 times of switching) it will automatically turn off power supply

3. The power supply of the battery box is detected and automatically converted by the program, and the power supply battery cannot be manually converted

4. When you using can short press the “power button” to check the power of each battery, the corresponding LED light will be on, after 5 seconds of no operation, it will flash to display the current power supply;

5. During using press and hold the “Power button” to turn off the power.

CAUTION: Only use genuine Makita batteries. Use of non -genuine Makita batteries, or batteries that have been altered, may result in the battery bursting causing fires, personal injury and damage. It will also void the Makita warranty for the Makita tool and charger.

Tips for maintaining maximum battery life

1.Charge the battery cartridge before completely discharged. Always stop tool operation and charge the battery cartridge when you notice less tool power.

2.Never recharge a fully charged battery cartridge. Overcharging shortens the battery service life.
3.Charge the battery cartridge with room temperature at 10 °C – 40 °C (50 °F – 104 °F). Let a hot battery cartridge cool down before charging it.

4.When not using the battery cartridge, remove it from the tool or the charger.
5.Charge the battery cartridge if you do not use it for a long period (more than six months).
